Bollywood Corner…
Well, we saw this shop in Munich…
While we were generally walking around in Munich and exploring the non-touristy lanes of the city, we came across this interesting shop… It seemed like a store that could have been anywhere in Mumbai and was selling CDs / DVDs of all old and new Hindi movies, movie posters, props and jewellery of the 70s movies (please crane your necks and notice the dress which looks like Helen wore it in Mehbooba O Mehbooba song of Sholay)…
Apologies for the poor picture quality but we had to take this picture in a hurry, as the lady in the shop (who was not an Indian) literally stepped out of the shop and shooed us away…
I have always heard that Bollywood now enjoys quite a fan following abroad. But for me it finally sunk in on seeing this shop in a place like Munich, owned by a non-Indian and that too with such a wide variety of Bollywood paraphernalia…
So, hat’s off Bollywood… 🙂
