From somewhere in the interiors of Rajasthan

On our second day in rural Rajasthan, we had a super blast. We left Bundi in the morning and visited a few villages and temples around this area.

During our ride we saw some villages in truly rural and interiors of this area, stone buildings and some of the most amazing variety of birds and small animals. We also saw some beautiful temples and sharply contrasting natural landscapes. I also had the largest parantha that I have ever had in my life. And all of this in places that no one would have ever heard off. 🙂

Well loved every minute of my day today but super exhausted too. More details to follow once I am back but here are a few pics through the lens of instagram.

  Hey restless wanderer. I love this place too and somehow it just never fails to amaze me or show me new things. Though this is my 5th trip here and i have already done the tourist trails, I still have a lot more to see.

I look at these photos, the ones with the waterfall and cliff, and immediately notice that they look like where I live on a canyon edge in the Panhandle of Texas. When the wind was shrieking in Delhi and the red dust was blowing, I thought to myself, “This is just like West Texas.” Who would have ever thought.
