How we planned our Europe Trip

Planning that first trip to any new continent is quite challenging. But planning that very first trip to Europe is nothing short of an overwhelming and even traumatic experience, as that first looks at the map of the continent and you are – “hmmm now from where should I start”. Even the lonely planet for this continent is super confusing with various editions like continental europe, central europe, western europe, eastern europe, Scandinavia etc etc. Phew…

This is clearly because there are about 50 countries to choose from and just too many things to see and explore – so much so that you are clearly spoilt for choices. And mind you everything is beautiful and worth an experience / visit. Here each country has its own unique history, culture, art, cuisine, landscape, architecture and in most cases even within each country there are numerous regions and small things to experience.

How to plan your own budget trip – tips fo saving money while traveling

Thinking of a “Holiday/ Vacation”; and the first thing that comes to my mind is “What will the Budget / Expense?” for the trip. During my initial traveling days, on many occasions I had really wanted to visit a place; only to leave it as the popular perception was it’s too expensive. But traveling to more than 30 countries over the last 10 years has taught me that there are simple ways of minimizing expenses during any trip. This helps significantly bring down costs and every country becomes accessible no matter what your budget 🙂

My travel motto is travel budget yet be comfortable. Budget does not necessarily mean any “Inconvenience” it just means cutting down on a few comforts that you are ok to live without for a few days. The most important part of any successful budget holiday is “PLANNING”, in “ADVANCE” and being “FLEXIBLE” with the available options. Traveling in this manner has helped me visit some of my dream destinations all within a reasonable budget in INR 🙂
